What is mindful yoga?

What is the difference between this and other yoga styles?

Mindful yoga is different to some styles of yoga because this approach places greater emphasis on the bodymind connection and less emphasis on achieving a “perfect” yoga pose or an aesthetically pleasing but physiologically unconsidered yoga sequence.

In a nutshell, it prioritises your health and function of each part of the practice. Each session is therefore informed by therapeutic knowledge and a wellbeing aspect which provides this approach with evidence based and scientifically rooted purpose and clarity.

This helps to ensure your practice really does have meaningful and effective benefits while still being wonderfully enjoyable.

It is a great way to connect to yourself, offer your body and mind strength, steadiness, and ease, while cultivating calm, clarity and resilience.

The aim is that you leave each session feeling good and equipped with simple and accessible tools to support your health and everyday living off the mat - something we can all benefit from in these changing and demanding times.
