3.      Medical conditions or other considerations

3.1.                              When booking you are asked to inform The Yoga Therapy Space of any medical conditions or other considerations which might affect your participation now or in the future, including any changes to your wellbeing. It is your responsibility to inform or update the teacher or organiser whenever using a The Yoga Therapy Space service. This is essential for your own safety. The new student registration form must be completed in full before taking part in any service. Non-completion of the form is at your own risk.

3.2.                              The new student registration form and this website set out the condition that by booking or taking part in any The Yoga Therapy Space service you understand and agree that you participate entirely at your own risk. Any loss, damage, injury or any other mishap impacting your health and wellbeing (physical, mental, emotional and otherwise) is not the responsibility of the class organiser or teacher.

3.3.                              By taking part you agree to have read, understood and agreed with these terms and conditions and participate at your own risk.

4.      Participation etiquette

4.1.                              The Yoga Therapy Space aims to create a safe, respectful, nourishing, and private space for all participants to enjoy with good intentions.

4.2.                              The Yoga Therapy Space supports and encourages a culture of respect and right to privacy so any information shared by The Yoga Therapy Space or any participant in any The Yoga Therapy Space service – class, course, workshop, retreat or otherwise – is confidential and is not to be shared.

4.3.                              Upon booking you agree to respect and act in line with this etiquette. Failure to do so will result in you not being able to take part in the service with immediate exclusion and no right to refund, as well as possibly being excluded from accessing future The Yoga Therapy Space services with no right to refund or future booking.

5.      Booking, Payments, Refunds and Credits

5.1.                              General, all services

5.1.1.                         Class, course and workshop booking and payments are online or bank transfer where relevant. All major credit and debit cards are accepted through the online booking and commerce systems.

5.1.2.                         Corporate class payments are via bank transfer as detailed in invoice.

5.1.3.                         Retreat payment is by bank transfer as instructed upon booking but deposit can be paid for online – see specific retreat instructions for further information.

5.1.4.                         Your class, course, workshop or retreat place is only guaranteed once a deposit (if offered) or full payment is received.

5.1.5.                         On receipt of your booking and payment you will be sent confirmation of your place and any further information necessary for joining the class, course, workshop or retreat. This will enter us into a legally binding agreement for the service you have purchased.

5.2.                              Regular classes

5.2.1.                         These must be paid for in advance upon booking using the online booking system unless otherwise stated.

5.2.2.                         There is a 6-hour cancellation policy unless otherwise stated.

5.2.3.                         Full refund or class credit is issued if you cancel more than 6 hours in advance unless stated otherwise.

5.2.4.                         No refund or class credit is issued if cancelling less than 6 hours in advance unless stated otherwise.

5.2.5.                         Block bookings are at your own risk and are not refundable or transferrable.

5.3.                              Private classes

5.3.1.                         These must be paid for in advance upon booking online or via bank transfer unless agreed otherwise.

5.3.2.                         There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.

5.3.3.                         Full refund or class credit is issued if you cancel more than 24-hours in advance unless stated otherwise.

5.3.4.                         No refund or class credit is issued if cancelling less than 24-hours in advance unless stated otherwise.

5.4.                              Workshops, courses and special classes

5.4.1.                         These must be paid for in advance upon booking online unless agreed otherwise.

5.4.2.                         Full refund is given if cancellation is made 72 hours in advance unless stated otherwise.

5.5.                              Retreats

5.5.1.                         Please refer to retreat details for booking and cancellation information as each retreat has specific requirements which are often dependent on venue and duration.

6.      Cancellations by The Yoga Therapy Space

6.1.                              The Yoga Therapy Space’s ability to provide you with the service, class, workshop or retreat you purchased might be affected by events beyond reasonable control such as illness or flooding. The Yoga Therapy Space will make every reasonable effort to limit the effect of any such events and will make every reasonable effort to keep you informed of the circumstances.

6.2.                              Occasionally this may mean that The Yoga Therapy Space needs to cancel or postpone the service you purchased and so The Yoga Therapy Space reserves the right to postpone or cancel such services including classes, workshops or retreats. 

6.3.                              If the service is postponed or cancelled and you are unable to make the new date or alternative event a refund of the fees will be issued in full unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

7.1.                              The Yoga Therapy Space is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.  Should The Yoga Therapy Space ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

7.3.1.                         The Yoga Therapy Space collects some personal information including your full name, contact details, relevant health information and age when you purchase or book a service such as a class, workshop or retreat.

7.3.3.                         The Yoga Therapy Space does not share your personal information with third parties unless your have given specific permission or if required by law.

7.3.4.                         You may request details of personal information held by The Yoga Therapy Space about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. You can do so in writing. A small administrative fee may be charged.
